On paper is difficult to see the formidable Indian line-up losing the match. The likes of Kohli seem to be in the form of his life, scoring at will and striking the ball as sweet as ever. Add to this the opening pair of Sharma and Dhawan, who look to be the next best thing in ODI cricket. Mishra struggled with the ball last time out, after finally getting some game time, one wonders if Dhoni will risk him in a final, or whether he will perhaps opt for another seaming option. This might also be the last chance to Yuvraj Singh to impress the selectors, after a string of failures, following his heroics in the T20I.
Australian Captain George Bailey has impressed the entire cricketing public, not only with his captaincy, but also with his batting. It will be interesting to see how he copes in the final match, knowing that he series outcome is at stake. With Mitchell Johnson leaving the squad, Coulter-Nile will most likely take his place. He is an impressive young bowler, with plenty of pace and the ability to swing the bat towards the latter parts of an innings. The focus will however be in the opening pair of Hughes and Finch, who has to get their side off to a good start, to lay the foundation, allowing the likes of Maxwell to play with freedom down the order. They will know that a score of 300 is not a winnings score, and will therefore have ti remain positive at all times, even when losing early wickets.
